Egypt. A land of literal enslavement for the Israelites, and one symbolic for today’s believers: it’s a place we must leave if we are to take possession of our true inheritance. Journey through biblical history while you follow the Israelites through forty years of wilderness wanderings as they leave behind their physical and mental slavery to Egypt and enter the Promised Land.

Through scriptural examples, fictional narratives, and personal stories, Leah Dent guides Christian believers on their own parallel exodus out of enslavement to the ways of the world. As you learn to break ties with the old, you will gain your freedom as a rightful heir of God’s Kingdom.

Through personal experiences Leah shares Biblical truths based on the parable of the talents in the Bible. The book is filled with rich treasures of truth learned over the author's lifetime of serving the Lord and studying His word. Her hope is you will learn from the talents she shares out of the lessons of her own struggles in life.  They are practical in nature but profound in truth. Some are simple, others a little more complicated, but all will challenge you to a deeper walk with the Lord and into a fuller life with the Holy Spirit as your guide.

She shares her own struggles with life and the raw pain that went along with those struggles. The same type of things we all encounter on this road of life we travel together. Her vulnerability will make what she shares in the chapters of this book more real to her readers.

Called to the Nations EBOOK COVER 1.27.22 (1).jpg

Called to the Nations is one woman’s pilgrimage to answer the call to make disciples of all nations. Leah Dent has spent over twenty-five years traveling around the globe to various countries doing what the Lord has spoken to her to do. She has lived her Acts 1:8 mandate, But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. As you read this book you will be drawn into the many adventures she has had as well as meeting the many special people she has met along her journeys. This book will challenge you to move out of your own comfort zone and possibly make your own pilgrimage to other parts of the world from where you live.

You can find Trading Talents and Called to the Nations on Amazon. Just put the name of the book in along with Leah Dent and it will pull up both of the books as softbacks or ebooks. You may also email me and I can send you a book directly to you.

Leah Dent was raised from the cradle in a mainline denomination. After receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1985 her walk with the Lord became a run and everything dramatically changed.

Leah’s life verse is Acts 1:8 – “ But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Leah has lived this verse for over 20 years traveling to a remote tribal village in Brazil, another remote village in Moldova shortly after communism fell, where no American had ever entered that village in all of its history. She has traveled to Aruba, and Peru several times where her role was part of prophetic teams, speaking prophetically to key religious and national leaders. More recently Leah has spent a lot of time in Israel, crisscrossing the nation with prophetic intercession and prophetic acts.

Leah states she has fulfilled her life verse by traveling to remote places on the earth as well as through the Judean Hills and Samaria which is now considered the West Bank, Israel. She has been to the Lebanese and Egyptian borders and into Jordan as part of her Israeli travels. Two years ago she completed a mission to S. Africa, again participating in prophetic ministry with pastors and others from across Southern Africa. More recently she has been involved in missions to Rome and smaller Italian villages.

She is often described as a "secret agent" because of what she does behind the scenes on her mission trips; going undercover, so to speak, because of her outward appearance of a little, older lady, which is not too intimidating.

Leah is an Administrative Assistant at a local church and has been Administrative Assistant to several churches totaling 34 years in that field.

Leah has three grown children, and five grandchildren, who are the lights of her life.
